Phi Engineering delivered the full design and construction of a modern marble processing plant for Zewude Asemu Agidew, financed by the Development Bank of Ethiopia. The project included a Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) system for the factory, with mezzanine floor, showroom, and product storage, alongside administrative offices, worker toilets, guardhouse, and worker residences.
This project plays a key role in transforming raw marble resources into end products, introducing modern technology to the community and promoting local industrial development. Phi Engineering is proud to have contributed to a project that empowers society through sustainable industrialization.
Engineering and Execution
Design & Surveying: Complete architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical (ST, MEP, EL) designs from concept to final stage, including site surveys and layout verification.
Factory Construction (PEB): Erection of the pre-engineered steel truss system for the marble plant, including mezzanine floors, showroom, and product storage, with properly designed foundations for heavy machinery.
Utilities & Environmental Measures:
Water treatment plant for recycling and reuse to minimize environmental impact
Elevated water tanker installation
Proper foundation and support for marble processing machines
Supporting Facilities: Construction of offices, guardhouse, worker toilets, and worker residences, ensuring safe and functional spaces for operations and staff.
