PROJECTS
Aliyi Mohammed Global Energy
Modern Fuel Retail Infrastructure
Client: Ato Aliyi Muhammed
Consultant / Supervisor: Global Oil Engineers
Oil Company: Global Oil
Location: Bale Robe City, Oromia Region, Ethiopia
Project Type: EPC / Design & Build – Integrated Fuel Station & Commercial Complex
Phi Engineering executed the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of an integrated fuel station and commercial service complex in Bale Robe City for Ato Aliyi Muhammed. The complete engineering design was developed by Phi Engineering, drawing on extensive experience in fuel station design and delivery, and was reviewed and supervised by Global Oil engineers to ensure full compliance with Global Oil technical, safety, and operational standards.
The project was designed and constructed in full compliance with the latest fuel station requirements, regulations, and guidelines issued by the Ethiopian government, including applicable safety, environmental, and operational standards. Using proven EPC methodologies, Phi Engineering developed an optimized layout focused on operational efficiency, traffic management, safety, constructability, and long-term durability.
The fuel station includes a canopy equipped with six fuel dispensing units, capable of servicing up to fourteen vehicles simultaneously, together with one dedicated overhead truck fueling line located outside the main canopy to segregate heavy vehicle operations. Landscaped green areas were incorporated to enhance site circulation, safety, and environmental performance.
Vehicle service facilities include two automatic car wash systems with hydraulic lifts and one conventional ramp-type car wash, providing efficient service options for a wide range of vehicles.
The development further comprises a G+1+terrace multi-use commercial building with an approximate gross floor area of 200 m², accommodating a cafeteria, offices, bank space, supermarket, lubricant retail shop, and terrace facilities. In line with modern mobility requirements, electric vehicle charging points were also installed.
Through integrated EPC management, in-house engineering capability, and close coordination with the client and supervising engineers, Phi Engineering delivered a safe, compliant, high-capacity, and fully operational fuel station and commercial complex, aligned with international EPC best practices and current Ethiopian regulatory requirements.
